An emblematic speciality of the Basque Country, txistorra is a fine sausage with a bold flavour, seasoned with garlic, salt and chilli pepper, born of authentic, artisanal charcuterie know-how.
Our txistorra is fully dried to reveal all its intensity and to be enjoyed simply, sliced thinly. Its texture is both firm and melting, with delicately spiced aromas — a true concentration of Basque terroir, available in a mild or slightly spicy version.
As an aperitif, txistorra is perfect on a generous sharing board with an authentic Basque sheep’s milk cheese, rustic bread and a few olives (and why not a touch of black cherry jam).
In the kitchen, txistorra enhances a Basque-style omelette, adds character to pasta or risotto, flavours a pizza, a warm potato salad, or scrambled eggs.
